Friday Ramblings, Realities and -Isms-The First One

Rambling is defined by Webster as:

  • passing from one topic to another
  • using or containing more words than necessary to express an idea

Reality is defined by Webster as:

  • the quality or state of being real
  • a real event, entity, or state of affairs
  • totality of real things and events
  • something that is neither derivative nor dependent but exists necessarily

-Isms are just my own colloquialisms .

I am in Seoul, South Korea because I REFUSE TO BE YOUR NEGRESS.  I REFUSE FOR MY DESCENDANTS TO BE YOUR NEGRO OR NEGRESS.

Who taught you to use that word? WHO??? Read Below, this brilliant soul would have blown out 93 candles yesterday.

My God, the amount of processed people, I have met so far on my entrepreneur journey in Seoul.

Three words: Socialites-wannabes, Rappers, and Pretenders

Are all  Rappers bad? No
Are all Korean Rappers bad? No

I have met some Korean rappers that are humbleness and humility walking.

Then you have the Elvis characters in the lands of Big Mama Thornton  TRYING TO SING  Hound Dog

My arrival to Seoul on the 4th week of April and the roller-coaster ride of entrepreneurship simply makes me cry out:

Let us look at some of the highlights, shall we? First, I need some coffee, I will never understand humans that do not consume coffee.

1.       My website not working properly till 3 weeks after my arrival in Seoul.

Have you tried contacting someone 14 hours behind your time zone, that seems to conveniently miss your calls?

LESSON:  YOUR VULNERABILITY TO “I GOT YOU, I UNDERSTAND” WILL LEAVE YOU PROPERLY SCREWED AS IT SHOULD.

Real life situation: Meeting potential investors but no working website but desperately trying not to look like an unprepared fool.

2.       Sisterhood based on cultural and genetic ties are highly overrated and in business, it will cost you dearly.

…. Feel free to cry the entire Nile River while listening to Justin Timberlake’s Cry me a River without the cool presence of Timberland.

3.       Expect the unexpected to happen and believe two things: IT WILL COST YOU AND IT WILL HURT.

4.       Entrepreneur life is that of risks and more turns than your favorite theme park.

5.       There is pyrite and GOLD for the love of creation, KNOW YOUR DAMN WORTH

6.       I refuse to be that untouchable white cauliflower with brown spots in the grocery store.

LESSON: DAMN EVERYONE IN MY WAY. I AM A FRESHLY PLUCKED LETTUCE WITH DEW AND FIRM LEAVES ON A THURSDAY MORNING.

7.       Drink lots of water because you will cry and sweat a lot.

8.       Stay away from people that wear your culture but do not want to spread #cassavadiplomacy

9.       Stay away from people who don’t love their cultural identity, they are unable to understand #cassavadiplomacy

10.   In the Holy Book of Hip Hop: Book Tupac Amaru Shakur Chapter 4 verse 1 “You gotta be able to smile through the bulls&*#.

It has not been completely terrible. I have met brilliant, sophisticated, inspirational, kind people that have made me appreciate my stay.
